
Colruyt’s Belgian mussels are available
For the third consecutive year, Colruyt Group is preparing to harvest mussels from its own marine farm in Belgium. These rope-grown mussels will be available starting in June. From June 5th, they will be offered exclusively in four Cru markets and served in over 40 hospitality venues. Daily delivery is handled by Solucious, the group’s food service specialist. A total volume of 75 tonnes is expected this year. An increasing number of chefs in Belgium are choosing to include these local mussels on their menus, reflecting the growing interest in this delicacy within the restaurant sector.
