Today in the Retail Influencer, I tell you about my meeting with Xavier Piesvaux, CEO of Delhaize Belgium. 

He usually doesn’t appear in a lot of medias, and since the transformation plan was announced in March 2023, he hasn't given any interview. But given that it has been more than a year and a half and that the plan will soon be coming to an end, Delhaize thought it was time to invite the media to chat about the transformation. 

During this meeting, Xavier Piesvaux drew a few conclusions, shared results, openly expressed the fact that certain challenges exist, talked about Sunday openings and e-commerce, and even lifted the veil on the broad outlines of the group's future product offering and how e-commerce and affiliates will benefit from each other.
