A fourth edition confirming the positioning of Saveurs et Métiers is coming up

End of January, the fourth edition of Saveurs et Métiers will take place. The show becomes annual and this year’s event promises again to be interesting. 

For those who need a reminder, the show targets butchers, bakers, professionals active in food retail, in catering etc. In terms of tradeshow, Saveurs et Metiers is decent sized and has a certain aura. During three days, the show will gather around 130 exhibitors and 6500 visitors. 


Highlights this year

  • The theme highlighted this year will be Food on the go: exhibitors and products present on the show will highlight the theme chosen by the organiser. 
  • Demonstrations: as it was the case on previous editions, visitors will be able to admire on stage the contest of the Couteau d’Or, but also demonstrations from craftsmen, butchers; 
  • And conferences:  several workshops will take place given by professionals and recognised federations. Even yours truly will present a workshop on Tuesday 28th of January at 11am. I hope, you’ll join. 


My 20/CENT on Saveurs et Métiers

This show is still quite young as this year will mark the fourth edition. Yet as a young exhibition oriented at food professionals, Saveurs et Métiers managed to impose itself as a must-see event. 

The organizer, Easyfairs, is well aware of its size and its limitations. The show stays pretty down to earth and keeps both feet on the ground instead of searching for unattainable yearly growth and internationalism. Yet, the content on offer becomes trendier and varies every year. The organizer manages to attract an interesting exhibitor offer with a good mix of products, services and equipment for POS. On top, recognized official federations of butchers and bakers participate with the content. These elements give as a result a good mix of a product offer reflecting the current trends, a useful conference program for experienced and more novice visitors, and attractive demonstrations and competitions of butchers’ and bakers’ craftsmanship. 

And, that is probably one of the strongest aspects of Saveurs et Métiers, this ability to offer great content for a modest sized event.
