The New Product Showcase of ISM crowned a 3D Printer
The top three of the New Product Showcase at the ISM 2016 is known. After reviewing 120 entries, the voters decided to reward

I had the chance to take a close look at this innovation. And I must admit it is quite an impressive achievement. A few minutes are necessary, but the results are breathtaking.
What most wont realize is that usually, gum needs to sit three days to set. However, in this case the gum is ready for consumption after the printing, so within minutes. Next to that, all products from the Magic Candy Factory are vegan, as well as gluten and lactose-free. The printer functions with cartridges, which are recyclable. In terms of applications, the company aims to place its printers in stores with a certain premium appeal, or special attractions. I know a recently revamped Hypermarket in Belgium where this kind of printer would have a place (regular readers will guess which one).

The winner of the second place is vegan, gluten-free and not fried. And of course presents a surprising flavor combination.

We live in the era of the selfies, and now with this innovation you can eat it. The company from Taiwan takes orders via its website and responds to its customers' requirements. The sweets made out of isomalt can be ordered in various flavours and are thus equally suitable as a give-away for promotion purposes or as a personal gift.
